Ethar is full of conspiracies and Kricket's supposed allies want to use her as a spy. She can't trust anyone, starting with Astrid, she recently found sister... She has to fight for her life, alone, while trying to reshape the future her mother has predicted.
This book really surprised me and I have to warn you that it contains the mother of all plot twists! Generally, I really like where this story is heading and the way that new characters are being added to the story, gradually. Still, this book was able to have me stunned and with mixed feelings through most of it.
Sincerely I have to congratulate the author for not sticking with just the sweet part of a story, she really gave it all. It is good and bad in everyone's lives and she made the book real by making Kricket's story not only sweet but sad (with some taste).
I think that all the chains of events in this book will make more sense on the next book (at least I think there'll be a next one, otherwise the series wouldn't make sense).
This book has a lot of one thing KION so brace yourselves because Kion is coming, and heartache too.
I think that most readers will absolutely love this book! So pick it up because I can't stay away from this series and I know you feel it too!
